一、开篇提出了一个问题：爱一个人是不是要长久在一起？
费莉希蒂是这么认为的，但是ben不能接受。显然费莉希蒂的想法是正确的，ben犯了一个大错误，狠狠地伤害了费莉希蒂，于是费莉希蒂剪发改志（弃医从艺），发誓脱离ben和诺儿，开始新的人生。
其实，二人都在为感情走弯路。先说ben，遇到了美少妇，尝试一种轻松的爱，上了床，感觉颇好，却发现是一个有夫之妇，还交往，结果人家是拿他来报复老公的。如此一通下来，顿悟。
再讲费莉希蒂，貌似潇洒，实际上却是迷失了自己，接连在学业和感情上作出了错误的选择----改学艺术是个错误，接受女教授的儿子更是错误。接下来，虽然领悟出不爱老师的儿子，却又跟诺儿吻在了一起，把生活搞得一团糟。
二、中篇的一个问题：你到底爱谁？
诺儿遇见了露比，本来可以使自己转入正轨，却始终放不下费莉希蒂，脚踏两只船的结果是：费莉希蒂得不到，爱露比不用心，丢了夫人又折兵。最令人匪夷所思的是在本季末了，我们的诺儿竟然跟塞维尔的表妹搞在了一起！可怜，可怜之人必有可恨之处！既然真爱费莉希蒂，那就耐心守候她，不要去惹露比；既然跟露比好了，就一心一意地去爱她，不要让她处于不稳定的情感之中；为了费莉希蒂放弃露比，怎么又跟冒险妹搞一起呢？让人大跌眼镜。
ben终于醒悟了，再追费莉希蒂，人家女孩却不敢接受他了，这是咎由自取。活该，就应该治治他，谁教他不懂得珍惜呢？！好在能够不断反省自己，进步挺快，明确了目标，在众朋友的帮助下没有弄丢费莉希蒂。
费莉希蒂由于生ben的气，无视自己的真爱，让坏孩子格雷格钻了空子，却执拗地认为格雷格是真爱，面对他的一次次劣迹视而不见，完全失去了辨别能力。然后真情难以隐藏，总在关键时刻跳将出来，把格雷格折腾得够呛，最后坏孩子举手投降了：“你总把我当做ben，对我来说不公正，对再有后来者也不公正。”

总之，成长之中的错误都可以原谅，但是，是不是可以少犯这些错误。
懵懂的乖乖女，为了自己不切实际的爱情，放弃父母安排好的人生道路，选择和那个连自己名字都记不全的男生去了一所学校。四年的大学生活，Felicity经历了爱情的单相思，感情世界大的两难，学业道路的选择和亲情的真实体验，这里面，既有难以言表的喜悦，也有无法摆脱的阵痛，而一切过后，我们和Felicity一起，体验到了最真实的人生。
这样的一部剧，没有吸血鬼和狼人，更没有N男N女的双飞3P。很难想象有多少青少年会喜欢上这样一部淡淡的，有一点点小清新的连续剧。是的，也许很多人会很难喜欢上她，但一旦喜欢上了，便很难放下。
