In the final fight between Deveraux and Scott, Deveraux does not use Scott's muscle enhancers. Shortly after grinding Scott to death, Deveraux is shot by his father before Dr. Christopher Gregor and his men appear.

Roberts is given the microphone to cover the arrest, but she loses all composure while on the air, dropping the microphone to comfort Deveraux.nnSeveral days later, Deveraux is reunited with his real parents. The film ends with a eulogy narrated by Roberts, who explains that Deveraux rejected all life-prolonging medication before dying a natural death.nn

简单的故事结构，弱智的科学基础，加上火爆场面，再配上浑身都是肌肉的打星，再加上一个金发傻女，一部好莱坞类型片就成型了。
这样的电影，流水线作业，只能用来打发时间了。
不能说这个片子很烂，里面有些小幽默，还算很搞笑的，比如住旅馆打电话那段，还有在餐馆吃饭那段，说明编导还是用了一点心的。
女主角是前几个月看的 HBO最大胆的美剧的主角之一，现在看起来，岁月真是不饶人，那时候她多年轻！

我发现，每个动作明星，年轻时候都挺帅的啊。越战中，死亡。而美国征服秘密的把他们做成了魔鬼战士，控制他们来完成常人难以完成的任务。
一和二里，都是，一个记者，然后摄像大哥不幸成为牺牲对象。而云顿带着美女记者，追查真相或者证明自己。
其实拍的不错，光看画质和感觉，说2002年的我也信，在那个时代，这个题材算新颖的，故事讲的也不错。云顿叔在里面，表现出的那种呆滞，也很到位。
